CheckDataNow (CheckDataNow
, we
, us
, or our
) is operated by Funnel Freaks
(Funnel Freaks
, the Company
). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process,
and protect information when you use CheckDataNow at https://checkdatanow.com.
CheckDataNow is built to be privacy-forward: we monitor business‑critical metrics for anomalies and incidents while avoiding storage of raw user‑level analytics event data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information (Google Sign‑In)
When you sign in (including via Google OAuth), we may receive basic account information necessary to authenticate you and provision your workspace, such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Google account identifier
- Basic profile information permitted by the consent screen
We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or other unrelated Google services.
1.2 GA4 Data Access (Read‑Only)
If you connect a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property, you authorize read‑only access to retrieve aggregated reporting data required for monitoring, such as:
- Aggregated metrics (for example, sessions, purchases, revenue, conversion rates)
- Time‑series metric trends
- Property metadata (property IDs, property names) for configuration
- Aggregated event counts (not raw event payloads)
We access GA4 data only via Google’s official APIs and only for the GA4 properties you select.
1.3 What We Do Not Collect or Store
CheckDataNow does not:
- Store raw user‑level analytics events
- Store end‑user identifiers (for example,
user_pseudo_id) or other PII from your GA4 implementation - Store full event payload logs or detailed user‑level browsing histories
- Modify your GA4 configuration or write data back to your GA4 account
Our monitoring operates primarily on aggregated and time‑series metrics needed to detect anomalies and support incident workflows.
1.4 Technical and Usage Data
For security and reliability, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. This information is used to protect the platform, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate users and provision isolated workspaces
- Allow you to connect and monitor GA4 properties you own or manage
- Detect anomalies and generate alerts
- Support incident workflows (acknowledgement, notes, resolution tracking)
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and performance
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
3. Legal Bases and Consent
Where required, we process information based on your consent (for example, when you connect GA4 via OAuth), and/or our legitimate interests in operating a secure monitoring service. You may revoke GA4 access at any time by disconnecting your GA4 integration in CheckDataNow or removing the app’s access from your Google Account settings.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
CheckDataNow’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the minimum scopes needed for authentication and read‑only GA4 reporting access, and we do not use Google user data for advertising or unrelated purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and configuration data for as long as your account is active. Aggregated monitoring data is retained only as long as necessary to provide anomaly detection, trend context, and incident history. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
6. Data Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, hosting, databases, error monitoring, and authentication). These providers are authorized to process data only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the rights of others.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards such as encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and workspace isolation. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your account information
- Disconnect GA4 properties and revoke OAuth permissions
- Request deletion of your workspace data
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside, depending on our infrastructure and service providers. We take steps to protect information in line with this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page
and revise the Last updated
date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice
where required by applicable law.
